1993

I was born in Cape Town, South Africa on December 23.

1994

At age 0, I wrote my first percussion concerto by drumming on my cot.

2003

Age 10, I began playing the keyboard at WPPS in Cape Town.

2007

I took up music as a subject at Bishops Diocesan College

2009

At age 14, I took up piano – officially – under the guidance of Judith Rhodes Harrison.

2010

I changed piano to my first instrument and drum kit to my second until final matriculation.

2011

I’d completed grade 5 level music theory and achieved a grade 7 Trinity Guildhall certificate in the drum kit.

2011

Left Bishops and won the ‘Piano Prize’ for best pianist at the school. 

2012

Shaz Sparks & Embrace One (My old alias) release ‘Altitude’ which reaches 16 on the Beatport’s genre charts.

2012

I began studying a bachelor of music degree at the University of Cape Town, majoring in the piano. An injury

Colton Gamby offers me a position as A&R manager for the label (High Intensity Records), which I accept.

2013

The beginning of my deferred first year at UCT came with difficulties and my focus shifted to electronic music production.

2014

In my second year at UCT I chose composition as my major.

2015

I take over from Warren Morse, a private events DJ with over 20 years of experience, at what is now

2016

My final year at UCT, as well as in the EDM industry.

2017

I graduate and continue to see considerable growth.
